Fjord 440 Open: the world premiere is at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026
Fjord describes it like this: not an evolution, but a revolution. And indeed the new 440 Open rewrites one of the models that made the yard's history. The hull remains that of the 41 XL, which has had its fair share of success. Everything else has been redone.
The cockpit is the real novelty: modular, it reconfigures quickly depending on how you're cruising, with the reversible aft seat and the hydraulic bathing platform that can carry a tender like the Williams 285 without taking space from the aft area. On the helm, everything is commanded by a full-beam T-Top and a redesigned station, with an integrated 55-inch television.
Below deck, the work shows. The two-cabin interiors have been rethought with the British studio Design Unlimited (the same as the 2007 Fjord 40) in two style variants, one more contemporary and one with Nordic tones. It's the direction the yard will pursue across the whole range.
On performance, it goes up to 960 hp.
