Boot Düsseldorf 2026 | 17–25 January: the Fjord 490 Open takes centre stage at the Mr. Blu Yacht & Ship stand

On show in Hall 5 – Stand C22, the 490 Open is a bold interpretation of the Fjord Yachts philosophy, combining essential design, performance and a conception of space entirely geared towards outdoor living. A boat that at Boot 2026 speaks to an international audience of owners and professionals looking for a new-generation walkaround.

Designed by Marco Casali, the Fjord 490 Open stands out for its continuous walkaround layout, designed to ensure maximum flow of movement and natural use of the various onboard areas. The new T-Top defines the boat's profile and helps create a protected yet bright environment, ideal for advanced day cruising and extended outings.

Technically, the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, available in the 700 or 800 versions, makes the most of the hull and ensures performance, efficiency and precise handling — elements now central to the Fjord offering. The ability to customise materials, layout and finishes completes a project designed to adapt to the owner's cruising style.
