Mr. Blu in Genoa: the Private Yachting Office and the latest from our yards

From 1 to 6 October Mr. Blu will be at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, and it arrives with what truly sets it apart: the first Private Yachting Office introduced in Italy.

The idea is simple to explain and less easy to find elsewhere. Buying a yacht is only the beginning: what follows are the technical, tax, insurance and asset-management aspects, day-to-day running and, one day, the resale. The Private Yachting Office accompanies the owner along this entire journey, with an approach reminiscent of family offices and wealth advisors, applied to yachting for the first time.

In practice, Mr. Blu acts as the director. Shipyards, leasing companies, insurers, surveyors, legal and tax firms, crews, charter companies and brokers come together in a single ecosystem, and the owner has one single point of contact who coordinates everything and protects their interests. Alongside it is the Mr. Blu-Key Service, the technical hub that handles after-sales support, maintenance and operational management, to preserve the boat's safety, efficiency and value over time.

"The client finds not just product expertise, but a structure able to support them in every decision concerning the choice, purchase, management and future enhancement of the yacht", explains Pietro Lucchese, founder of Mr. Blu.

Alongside the method, the boats. In Genoa we bring three models from the yards we represent.

Fjord 440 Open. The new 13-metre walkaround, built on the hull of the legendary 41 XL and rethought in every detail: modular cockpit, reversible aft seat, hydraulic bathing platform, full-beam T-Top and a two-cabin interior by Design Unlimited. Up to 960 hp. It makes its world premiere in Cannes in September and arrives in Genoa straight after.

Apreamare Gozzo 42. The contemporary reinterpretation of the Sorrento gozzo: 12.80 metres by 4.20 wide, up to 14 people on board, sharper lines and an aerodynamically styled hard top. Variable-geometry hull with lift strakes, in-line shaft or IPS Volvo Penta engines, with top speeds between 27 and 36 knots. Mediterranean tradition and technical substance, without giving up either.

Lomac Turismo 8.5. The RIB that fills the gap between the Turismo 7.0 and the 9.5 and completes the range's renewal. The guiding idea is the "right size": high-end features and performance in compact dimensions, bucking a market increasingly oriented towards oversize. Designed by Federico Fiorentino, it plays on versatility: the U-shaped dinette becomes a sun pad, the console compartment turns into a toilet, technical room, changing space or storage. It measures 8.50 metres by 3.14 and, in its most powerful version, exceeds 50 knots.

"It's a boat consistent with our method, which starts from listening to the client and places every choice within a broader project", observes Laura Passavinti, CEO of Mr. Blu, speaking about the Lomac.
